Lauren Dane Joins Our Week Of Obsession!
by R.G. Alexander on Jul 28th, 2010 34 Comments »

Lauren Dane is here for the POSSESS ME Obsession Celebration!! *Smutketeer fan-girl squee* We love her, can you tell? ;) We also love her recent release INSATIABLE

YUM!

Let’s give her a big Smutketeer welcome as she talks about possession, obsession and desire

LD: There is something primal about desire. Desire runs free through your system whether you will it or not. Sometimes it’s that beautiful pale lavender bag you see when you’re at the mall. The one that makes you stop and take in how the light hits it. You don’t intend to see it and have your attention snagged, it just happens.

Or when you’re driving and he walks by. Shirtless, skin gleaming from the run he’d just finished. Your breath hitches and there it is. You can be happily married and totally satisfied with your life and still get tingly looking at a man, or woman and feel something wild. Just for a brief second even. It takes over and it doesn’t care about context, it is bone deep and ferocious.

I love those things that run through us as humans. The wildness that exists just beneath the surface and I love to write about them.

Possession is one of those primal echoes of desire. A next step, if you dare. Because while desire is primal and at will, possession is a choice.

You choose to possess something, or to be possessed. Or sometimes both. There is something darkly sweet about it. It’s why I love to write romance, that intensity of connection, the desperate need to own, to give oneself to someone else, to want to be owned.

I don’t mean owned in a sense of someone taking freedom from another person. I mean wanting to make that person burn for you, wanting to look at them and know you’re free to touch them however you desire. Or having someone look at you and seeing it in their eyes, that hunger for you.

It’s a huge part of the allure of writing BDSM as well. Taking that possession and ramping it up. It’s not about the physical acts themselves, though hello, it’s part of the fun, but it’s about getting in the head of the characters. Knowing why she submits. Seeing it through her eyes when he looks at her and sees the beauty in the way she kneels. Understanding that she feels adored and cherished when he dominates her. You’re in her head when he possesses her and you can see it’s not a negative act, that his possession is adoration and she feels it.

And then you’re in his head when she does it. When he’s moved beyond words that she kneels when he tells her to, or that she likes the little love bites he leaves on her lower back. That he sees her as the most magnificent being on the planet and that she gives herself to him the way she does makes everything in his life better.

Possession isn’t sweet. It’s raw and hungry and it makes our chemicals dance with each other. I couldn’t imagine a world without it.

Did it just get hot in here? Whew! CONTEST-Post here and tell a friend about our Obsession week and win a copy of ANY book from Lauren’s backlist.

Obsessed with R.G.’s POSSESS ME-out August 3rd!

R.G. Alexander’s first book for Berkley Heat, POSSESS ME, is coming out on August 3rd, and we’re SO excited! This is a beautifully told story of love, lust and possession-figuratively and literally. Here’s a li’l peek:

In the Big Easy, there’s a legend women long for: a sexual voodoo spirit who can fulfill their darkest fantasies. And in these three steaming-hot novellas, he helps three New Orleans couples achieve the ultimate satisfaction…

In Release Me, Allegra heads down to New Orleans to heal her wounds, but she never expects to lose her heart to such a quiet, troubled man as Rousseau. She’s even less prepared for the scorching, sexual spirit within him-and what he can do to her…

In Reclaim Me, Ben has loved Michelle as long as he can remember. But his beautiful artist has a way of running away from life-and what the pair could be. Leave it to the infamous spirit to help Ben prove to Michelle where she belongs: in his embrace…

In Redeem Me, it’s All Saints’ Day, the one day the voodoo spirit can walk the world in the flesh. When he bumps into Bethany, she might just be the reincarnation of a girl he once loved. Passion ignites, but can the couple overcome past mistakes and have a real chance at love?

To celebrate the release of POSSESS ME we’re having a countdown party, and some of our smutty author friends have been happy to participate! I asked them this question:
Eden: I me want to know about that experience of being ‘possessed’. I don’t mean by a ghost, but rather that feeling you get when a man completely inhabits your every waking moment, you can’t stop thinking about him. Obsession. Raging desire. You know what I mean…

Here are the answers from some of the leading authors in erotic romance, and our dear friends:

“I can’t say I’m the sort of person who gets obsessed about anything apart from maybe my extreme devotion as a teenage to various pop/TV stars. But I love it when my characters become obsessed with their perfect match. There’s nothing like writing about that intense sexual need to possess someone entirely, to lick their skin, to be naked with them 24/7, to just want to be with them and breathe them in. As romance writers we get to write about that first taste of love, which is very often obsessive and makes for great sexy scenes.
My hero, Christopher Ellis in ‘Kiss of the Rose’ ends up becoming obsessed with the heroine, (in a good hot sexy way) and I loved watching him succumb to that most instinctive of states, and bearing in mind his history, his instincts are definitely unusual. ‘wink’”

~Kate Pearce, author of THE TUDOR VAMPIRE CHRONICLES

(**BTW-Kate’s latest, KISS OF THE ROSE, is out on the same day as POSSESS ME!)

Eden: I love that you address taste and scent-so much a part of that intense chemistry!

* * *

“The first time I was truly possessed was when I watched Thundercats. My family never owned cable, so I had limited access to “cool” stuff. I found Lion-O in his strappy onesy incredibly kinky. He had an innocence and a stupidity about his flowing mane most of the time, but when the chips were down, he could bulk up, get serious, and power into a man with a giant-ass sword. I was fifteen. And I was captivated by the whole world of isolation, natural paradise, psychic powers and technology. Now I’m all grown up and am writing kinky scifi-fantasy shapeshifters. They say you always remember your first. “

~Mima, author of WITHIN REASON

Eden: This reminds me of being a kid-maybe five years old-and I was in love with Kimba the White Lion (does anyone remember that cartoon?). Yes, he was a lion. And he was animated. Hey-I was five! But I totally get it, Mima. Although no lion shapeshifters for me…but never say never.

* * *

“Being possessed by a love is a full body experience. It’s like the object of your love permeates your soul, encompasses every heartbeat, gets into every cell and hums. Your bones tremble in tune with their voice. You taste them on the air, hear them in the wind. Being possessed by love is enthralling and makes you feel alive.”
~Inez Kelley, author of SALOME AT SUNRISE

Eden: I love how sensual your interpretation is. It’s like that for me, too-it can really take over the senses.

* * *

“Obsessive love makes you do things that you tell yourself you will never do. Things like driving past his house just to see if he’s home yet or sitting by the phone from 5 o’clock on because he said he’d call you “tonight”. Things like calling in sick to work because he decided he wants to go on an impromptu trip mid-week and you can’t stand to not be with him. You might even help him write his master’s thesis, just to help him get it done sooner. You are not a morning person, but you’ll let him in at 6am to spend some time with him before work. And if you could kiss him forever, you know it would be paradise. You forgive him for stuff you would tell your friend to dump her guy over. Things like that phone call to a “friend” on your hotel bill when checking out after your romantic getaway that wasn’t great or perhaps figuring out he’s actually in town on Valentine’s Day when he says he’s away and realising he’s with someone that’s not you. You believe him when he tells you that no one will love you like he loves you. And you believe the stories he tells you because he is your drug of choice. He is what wakes you up and makes you feel alive. His possession and this obsession will send you from the heights of ecstasy to the depths of Hell. And even after you get out, even after you are years away, your heart still picks up a pace when you think of him.”

~MG Braden, Author of VAMIRE ORACLE: HARMONY

Eden: Aw-yours is so sad. But true, too. *sigh* There can definitely be a dark side.

* * *

“Describing what it feels like to be possessed may be hard to describe. It’s such an elemental feeling, so consuming, I shiver to dive into the depths of it. Yet I will… The first time I saw my husband…

I saw him standing there with his booted feet crossed at the ankle. He wore tight jeans with a few rips, a t-shirt and a black leather vest, topped with a bad boy attitude that immediately commanded my attention. It begins with the shiver of awareness, that whisper dancing up my skin, making the small hairs stand at attention. My stomach clenches as heat radiates out from below my waist, sending slow pulses through my body, growing stronger as it travels outward.

My nipples pop like small pink diamonds, reacting to his raw sensuality and his nearness. My breath puffs out in short bursts as warmth seeps into every fiber of my body.

He turns to look at me and one corner of his mouth kicks up. I swallow the lump in my throat and step toward him, ready and willing, to be his.”

~Beth Williamson, author of UNBRIDLED

Eden: Oh, I love this! And I know that sensation, where your breath catches and you go hot all over…and after that moment, you can never stop thinking about him…

We’ll be celebrating all week, so be sure to check back for some awesome guest authors, giveaways, and more smutty fun! And remember, POSSESS ME is available for pre-order right now on Amazon , Barnes & Noble and Borders !

And now for a contest-because it wouldn’t be Smutketeers without some free books! Tell us about your moment of obsession or possession, and be eligible to win! One lucky winner will receive a signed copy of my erotic Shibari rope bondage novel, THE BEAUTY OF SURRENDER! The winner will be announced on August 2nd!

The Smutketeers do Tawny Taylor!
by edenbradley on Jul 21st, 2010 50 Comments »

Today we have the lovely and talented Tawny Taylor, author of smokin’ hot paranormal and erotic romance! Well, we aren’t having her, exactly…*wistful sigh*…but she is here visiting the Smutketeers today, so yay!
Her latest book, MASTER OF SIN 2: LUST’S TEMPTATION, was just released, so read on to find out more!

Ah, the word Sin.

Sin…

That’s a word that evokes a great many images, both good and bad, doesn’t it? A huge piece of decadently delicious German chocolate cake. Saying a gazillion rosaries on your knees on a cold stone floor (if you were raised Catholic like I was, I know what I’m talking about). Or, my favorite: a wickedly sexy man. Of course, I just love reading (and writing) about wickedly sexy men. And reading about a wickedly sexy, sinful man is even better. Better yet, how about two wickedly sexy sinful men…who do their sinning together :) Mmmmm…

They are the Masters of Sin.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with my Masters of Sin series, the premise is fairly simple. The spirit/demon of each of the seven deadly sins is split in two and hosted by two men (there are reasons for this, but I won’t go into here). While possessing the men, the demon gains some control over them, thus driving them to do terrible things until they meet a very special woman who has the power to silence it. The stories are on the dark side, showing the struggle the men face to control the almost overwhelming urges of the demon.

Lust’s Temptation is the most recent Masters of Sin book:

Troi and Amun—one dominant, the other submissive, both alpha—are possessed by the spirit of Lust. Its dark demands have tested their will every minute of every day for centuries. And they’ve committed deviant, selfish acts to satisfy its unrelenting carnal hunger. But the guilt doesn’t overwhelm them until they meet Oriel. She is their salvation, their peace. They need her. But they don’t deserve her.

Life’s lessons have taught Oriel not to trust anyone, especially gorgeous men who will use anyone for their own satisfaction. Granted, they’re sexy. Charming. Her body responds to their every look and touch. But she can’t—won’t—take a chance on them. Until she discovers she can run away, but she can’t escape the emotions they stir.

As darkness closes in, Troi and Amun’s lives and souls hang in the balance. The beast will consume them if Oriel can’t accept her own dark needs, and trust the two men who have summoned her most decadent desires.

Reader Advisory: This book contains same-gender sex, group sex, and various and sundry other deliciously wicked acts committed by two very naughty boys.

Pop Quiz: Who can name the Seven Deadly Sins? No cheating :)

And finally, a contest!

Lust’s Temptation, combines the eroticism you’d expect from a book with a title that contains the word Lust, along with a healthy helping of romance, and a little taste of a certain hobby of mine. You’ll get a hint if you read the excerpt HERE. Post your answer in the comments and everyone who answers correctly will be entered in a drawing for a gift box, containing a book or two from my backlist and some other goodies. A warning: it’s a little tricky; it isn’t clearly spelled out. If nobody answers correctly, we’ll still have a drawing. I’ll throw everyone’s name in the hat and pick the winner randomly (to clarify: only those who post a guess will be entered in the drawing). Winners will be announced here on Sunday evening, so be sure to check back!

Good luck and thanks for reading!
Tawny

Truly Scrumptious-A Naughty Sing-Along, A Release, And a Contest
by R.G. Alexander on Jul 12th, 2010 36 Comments »

Ever seen Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? You know. Disney, Dick Van Dyke, Toot Sweets?
If you know it then you know this song

Awww. Aren’t they cute? Two little pure, sweet children singing. How, you must be thinking to yourselves, could RG have possibly named a dirty dirty foursome after such a sugary song?
Well, I am a Smutketeer, right?
I can’t help it, I’m a petite and innocent flower. I sing Disney songs. I write foursomes. I’m complex. ;)

When I decided to write about 3 chefs and one really lucky PR lady…I honestly couldn’t think of any other name. Here’s a pic and blurb
Scrumptious as a cherry peach parfait…or a sinfully kinky foursome.

Available now at MBAM!
The popular cooking show, Brunch with Laura, is T.S. Larkin’s brainchild. Rather, it was. Because her boss couldn’t keep it in his pants, Truly’s unemployed and not sure what to do with herself. When a juicy tip leads her to the best-kept secret in Denver—three mouthwatering chefs whose restaurant image needs a makeover—her PR instincts start tingling. And her imagination simmers with private fantasies.

Ever since the last woman he, Clay and Louis shared nearly ruined everything, Nate has worked hard to get things back in order. Truly’s ideas could rescue their business, but her non-stop curves, luscious lips and cherry-on-top hair are a sure-fire recipe for another disaster.

But when the ingredients are right, the reaction is inevitable. A kiss in the walk-in explodes into a wild night of indulging Truly’s every sweet and spicy whim. She is the missing ingredient for the perfect foursome. Except Nate is suddenly not so sure he’s willing to let the others lick the spoon, much less share.

Warning: Explicit sex, bisexual ménage, delicious recipes, sexy chefs who like to share. Threesomes, foursomes, kinky food tastings, excessive use of shower toys and chocolate… Hungry yet?

But those cute kids…and that sweet song….how can I live with that? There’s only one thing to do-change the lyrics

Truly Scrumptious, her name is Truly Scrumptious
Blame her mom and dad what can I say?
Nate and Louis, and Clay, desire her
Honest, Truly
why do you need THREE admirers? (I’m jealous)

Truly Scrumptious, though they might be presumptuous
you’ll enjoy it day and night and daaaaay.
Their boundless lust’s unruly
Because they want you Truly
Honest, Truly, they do

(now one for her fellas)
Truly Scrumptious
Those three are truly scrumptious
Candied man meat in a HAWT flambe
Sinful, sexy, they’re too delicious
Honest, Truly
they’re the answer to MY wishes.

Truly Scrumptious, your man banquet is sumptuous
Do you want to share? You sure? I’ll paaaaaaaaaaaaay
I feel all hot and drooly, because I want them Truly
Honest, Truly, I do.

Sorry-lol-got a little carried away. Now where was I? Oh yes, a contest. I have 3 prizes. An ebook from my backlist, a signed print copy of Twilight Guardian, and a ten dollar amazon gift card.
I’m easy (don’t go there) All you have to do to enter is post here and if you’d like, blog/twitter/facebook about Truly and our contest here at Smutketeers. I’ll pick the winner on Friday.
I may choose more than one, and who knows…there may be chocolate in it for ya. *wink*

Happy Weekend! & the Winners of Jax Cassidy’s visit contests!

What’s everyone up to this weekend? I’m at home, proofing the galleys for my first Eve Berlin book, PLEASURE’S EDGE, out in October from Berkley Heat! This is the last step in the editing process before the book goes to print, so it’s very exciting! This one is a contemporary BDSM-lots of sex and lots of romance, a more purely alpha hero than I usually write. I forgot how in love with Alec I was while writing this one…*sigh*
Am about to start the next book, DESIRE’S EDGE, about Alec’s hot lawyer friend, Dante. I can’t wait! But…the next in my Midnight Playground vampire series, THE TURNING KISS, is nagging at me. I wrote a few pages the other day and can’t stop thinking about it. One woman and three men-well, one man and two male vampires. Things are gonna get dirty! But I like it like that…*G*
All is quiet otherwise-just me and my computer. My b/f is out getting some new tattoo work today, so I’ve been home with the cats and my edits. But he’s taking me shopping tomorrow-one of my favorite past times and I still can’t believe I found a man who likes to shop-yay! That’s my big excitement this weekend. I’ll be traveling the next two, though-next weekend going to Palm Springs with the fabulous K.B. Alan (and have you read her book, BOUND BY SUNLIGHT yet?) for some R&R, then the following weekend my b/f and I will hook up (no-not like that, you dirty folks!) with fellow Smutketeer Crystal at ComicCon in San Diego-can’t wait to see her!
Oh-and don’t forget to check back here at the Smutketeers blog-we have an exciting few weeks coming up, with the release of RG’s TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS, guest blogger Tawny Taylor, and lots of fun stuff to get us all ready for the release of RG’s first New York book, POSSESS ME!

* * *

And now for the winners:

The winner of my e-book, BREAKING SKYE, is cories!
The winner of any one of their choice of R.G.’s backlist is Lindsey Ekland!
The winner of Jax’s DEVILS’ HEART and BRUSH STROKES is Sandie!

Winners, please email me at: eden_bradley@yahoo.com to collect your prizes-and congrats!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

The Smutketeers Do Jax Cassidy-Round Two!
by edenbradley on Jul 8th, 2010 22 Comments »

The wonderful and wickedly sassy Jax Cassidy is with us today, and we’re so excited to have her back! Jax is a dear friend, an awesome author, and a creative evil genius. Accomplished not only as a writer, but as a graphic designer, and one of the two great minds behind Romance Divas, an award-winning writer’s resource website and discussion forum with over 3,700 members, Jax never stops! Today’s interview theme is ‘Stayin’ Alive’, so let’s have a chat with this powerhouse to see how she’s surviving the challenges of today’s publishing industry!

Smutketeers: Jax, the Smutketeers tend to be nosy (one of our more charming features), so tell us something people might be surprised to know about you. And make it scandalous!

Jax: Scandalous, huh? I normally don’t kiss and tell but I’ve been known to strip down to my au naturale state in the name of comic book modeling. Let’s just say it was a very titillating experience. …

Smutketeers:
You’ve been doing some interesting things with Smashwords. Tell us about this new publishing phenomenon, and about your Smashwords books.

Jax: About a year ago, my good friend Eva Gale had her rights reverted back for a series of short stories from her ePub. She had mentioned a desire to expand her readership and shared information about Smashwords. Her friends had experimented with this online platform and had successful results so she tried it out. In retrospect, I wish I had taken more of an initiative because, after a year since she put up her free reads, her stories are one of the most downloaded stories on their website–ever! Even their formatting guidebook uses one of her short stories as an example. Then and there, I decided I needed to get my stories up ASAP. I figured that as an author I promote on as many online venues as possible so this is no different than a type of online marketing campaign. Based on Smashwords professionalism and business structure, it was a win-win.

What I love most about Smashwords is that I get to control whether I want to sell my own stories or offer them for free for readers. Why hide those old manuscripts under the bed when you can just edit, format, and upload to get people familiar with your writing style. I haven’t put up any of my paranormal stories but from the results of my own experimentation…after the first 3-4 weeks of having my free reads available, I had around 2,000 downloads and counting. The responses were amazing and so I decided to put up a short story, DEVIL’S HEART to sell. I love this story! It’s set in Ireland and involves a hunky bar owner and a sexy indie singer. It’s a contemporary erotic that has a splash of fairytale and I even designed the cover.

What I took away from this experiment is that free reads will get you maximum exposure and heavy downloads but don’t expect to have high sales. The stories I’ve noticed that has grabbed lots of interest are ones that reach both the male and female audiences. As I mentioned, this release was a promotional experiment for me. It certainly helped bring in additional visibility but my money’s still on pursuing the traditional NY publishing route.

Smutketeers: The publishing industry is changing, and small press and e-books are becoming more familiar to the reading public. How do you think this will affect authors? Readers?

Jax: Any kind of publishing exposure is good exposure…more people are willing to try out eBook authors because it’s much cheaper and they won’t feel bad if they don’t like what they’ve bought. A lot of instant bestsellers have emerged from ePubs and small press and the numbers of them doing very well owe it all to ePublishing. I think there’s a wider demographic that ePubs and small press are able to tap into. They’re also more willing to take chances and publish stories that traditional publishers won’t.

In any industry, there are reputable and scandalous ePublishers out there but an authors job is to do the research before submitting. Don’t be eager to sign. Read the fine print on the contracts. Plan your future and see which ePub will help you get to where you need to go. There are so many online resources and so many ePub authors out there who will share information.

I’m thankful to have my start in both ePub and small press. It’s given me a chance to learn about the submission process, edits, deadlines, and proposals. The experience will help you out immensely when you get those big contracts. By that time, I’ll be prepared and at my best professionally!

Smutketeers: We know you now have an agent-the same agent who represents all of the Smutketeers, the amazing Roberta Brown of the Brown Literary Agency! Tell us a little about your writing history and the trials and joys you’ve been through. How have your writing goals and your career changed over time?

Jax: I can’t praise Roberta enough! She is the most amazing individual and has a gentle soul. She has a way of making you feel like the most special person in the world and her support has given me a huge boost during this economy. Getting signed by her was a total accident. She had rejected three of my proposals in a three-year period and I decided I’d wait to send her something fabulous when the time was right. Well, a few weeks before Thanksgiving a year and a half ago, I had written a short story I wanted to submit to Spice Briefs. I begged her to read over it and give me her thoughts on my story because I knew she had sold plenty of Briefs to Harlequin. A few days after I sent her the email, she wrote back and asked me to set up a time to speak with her. Let’s just say for Thanksgiving I had signed with my first choice agent… Still can’t believe it!

Everything is supposed to be great when you have one of the best agents in the biz, right?

In my case, I can say that it was the happiest and toughest time for me. Unfortunately the economy was swirling down the crapper the week I signed and publishers weren’t buying because they were undergoing re-organization and downsizing. Lucky me. I was no longer in the slush pile but on a whole other stack of slush pile for new authors with agents. Yep, there is a hierarchy to everything. My waits were shorter with an agent but unless you wrote what fit their bill, the days of trying to sell the book of your heart is virtually on hold. I still didn’t allow all this frustration and negativity to bring me down, so I kept writing and staying busy.

Although I had a full plate with my boutique design company and Romance Divas, I managed to submit two short stories and four proposals. I am currently trying to finish two manuscripts and 3 more proposals. The deadlines never cease even when you’re awaiting your fate. I truly learned so much about resilience, spirituality, internal strength, and staying positive because those things will keep that fire lit within you. I’m a firm believer that hard work and a strong work ethic will get me that big freakin’ contract. Just wait and see…

Smutketeers: What are you currently working on?

Jax: I am finishing up a paranormal romance that involves the world of Death. It’s not a fallen angel story but it’s the coolest world I’ve ever built in my head and I hope I’ll be able to share it with everyone someday real soon…

I’m also going to pick back up on an Italian contemporary I started eons ago but never had a chance to finish. I’m only one chapter away from being able to polish and send to my agent. In addition, I’ll be able to work on a very cool young adult series wrapped around Asian mythology and the elements. I can’t wait to try my hand at reaching the younger audience…of course, under a different pen name.

Smutketeers: What are your favorite genres to read? To write?

Jax: I LOVE contemporaries but I don’t limit myself to just that genre. I enjoy historical, some paranormal and erotica books. Sad to say I don’t have many opportunities to read but when I do, I can go through a stack of books in a day or two.

I never say ‘never’. I think anyone who writes historicals are brilliant. I have entertained the thought but my first love is contemporaries. Paranormals are fun to delve into when I’m in that dark headspace and need the release. Perhaps someday I’ll write a historical set in Vietnam. I think most people might not find it the most romantic or exotic country because predominantly Chinese and Japanese stories have always been at the forefront..but I’m proud of my heritage and I hope someday I can talk about all those amazing figures in history that I learned about and bring them to life!

Smutketeers: Do you believe in love at first sight, or do you think it’s lust at first sight that can turn into something more?

Jax: I’m a firm believer in soul mates and destiny. I have totally fallen in love at first sight (even had lust at first sight) but it’s even more amazing when the emotional, physical, and mental is solidified through a strong relationship. That’s when the passion never wavers and the other person is the very air you need to breathe and keep you alive. I’ve found my Mr. Right so I can tell you I have firsthand experience on this topic.

Smutketeers: What else do you want to tell our Smutkedettes and others reading the blog today?

Jax: I live by the philosophy of helping others, staying true to yourself, and indulging in whatever it is that will make you feel alive. I wish I had more free time to focus on charities, fighting against human trafficking, feeding and helping the less fortunate…but every chance I get, I try to do one act of kindness. I think that in this time and age, a lot of people have forgotten about just being nice. It doesn’t take a lot of effort. Open doors, smile, help someone whose hands are full, thank someone…I guarantee you’ll feel good about yourself if you try it.

I always sign my books with “Live with Purpose, Love with Passion” and it’s something I feel strongly about. Writing has helped me through so many personal hurdles, health issues, and so much more that’s happened in my life. It’s given me an outlet and it’s a gift that I never take it for granted. I hope that when someone reads one of my stories, they’re able to escape, laugh, cry, or feel anything at all…in knowing that, I have done my job as a writer. Thanks for inviting me into your livingroom!

Smutketeers: Thanks for coming to visit us today, Jax-you’ve worn us out, and that’s no easy task-whew! But you know you’re always welcome here-we luvs ya, Jax!

Jax: Thanks for the love. I may not be as kinky as you Smutketeers but I won’t divulge all my little secrets or show you the skeletons in my closet. Some things are better left behind closed doors.

Love you all and thanks for giving me the opportunity to ramble!!!!

CONTEST: To show our appreciation for our blog readers, we’re running a contest! Just post here with the names of any two of Jax’s heroes (you’ll have to visit her website to find out!) and we’ll give one lucky winner a copy of Eden’s kinky e-book BREAKING SKYE, and another winner a copy of one of R.G.’s e-books-anything from her backlist-go to her website to see what she’s got available!
