Housebound for the last few years due to an accident, Ume’s only distraction from the endless physical therapy sessions has been an online role-playing game. When she logs in this time, though, something is different. She finds herself lost in the game—literally—and falling for a mysterious warrior on her way to face the Demon King in his lair.

I had a lot of fun with Saint and Ume…and I have to admit…I have sometimes wondered what it would be like to be a character in a video game. And if I had a guide like Saint, well, what more could you ask for? It, along with the upcoming season, got me to thinking about what I’m thankful for.

Being Thankful

I am thankful for my readers, for my Smutkedettes and Smutketeers. I am thankful for my family and that it’s finally getting cooler outside. I’m thankful for this year and the promise that the New Year is bringing. And I am so incredibly thankful that I get to play in my daydreams for a living.

    My family ( most of the time) my wonderful friends ( off and online) and that we all made it through another year. Oh and call me scrooge but I’ll be even more thankful when the holidays are over again ;)

    No clue how to show you that I tweeted your happy day and your hotty blog! However, I’m always happy to discuss gratitude… my husband just spent 3 solid days entertaining our kids so I could meet deadlines. And he cooks. And those kids are smart and healthy. And my mommy just came to visit. And I just discovered a Saint….

    I’m thankful that I live in a free country and that my husband and many others are willing to defend it. I’m thankful for me friends andfamily that help me make it through the hard and sad times.

    This sounds so unique and yummy RG! I don’t play video games, well does it count on my Kindle playing word games? :) I’m definitely thankful for all these great reads. Honest, I don’t know what I’d do without my reads! Its so great to look forward to and the great feel it brings! And that goes along with my hubby and 2 adult children thinking its cool I read romance! I’m thankful for all the laughter they bring and how much they have been positive to those difficult days always seeing the good there is!
