Man or Machine?
She reached her hand over and let her fingers wrap around the hard shaft. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the feel of it as she stroked up and down before placing the smooth generous sized head in the palm of her hand. – from Ruby Red Metallic ~available now from Breathless Press
That’s Alaina’s description of the gearshift inside a Porsche 911 GT2. Why does she like this car? Or any of the cars she steals. Is it just their beauty? Or because they’re expensive?
Actually, what Alaina likes about them is their power, which is why she knows so much about their engines and what they’re capable of.
Like a woman, a car can be sensual and classy, with erotic curves. But like a man, a car can have power and strength. It can have a hard, sculpted body with pronounced masculine angles.
The fierce rumble of the engine can be compared to the all-consuming, fierce desire you have to feel your man inside you; the almost frantic need for orgasmic bliss that only he can give. The heat of lust coiling in your core at the slightest touch of his hard body as his hands, lips and tongue deftly manipulate your womanly gears to help speed you along the road to thrilling satisfaction.
A shrewd woman knows that a man, like a car, has complex inner workings. She knows that in order to get the best performance she needs to handle him skillfully and in so doing, he responds willingly.
What ways can you think of that make a man and a car alike?

Casey Sheridan’s RUBY RED METALLIC is available now!
Alaina knows her cars, and she doesn’t view what she does for a living as stealing. Using all the physical attributes she has at her disposal, she merely acquires the high-end vehicles for a business partner. Although the beautiful cars turn her on, she has her heart set on a particular gem. When she finds her jewel, Alaina is pleasantly surprised by its handsome owner, Scott.
Now she’s faced with a dilemma. Does she choose the man or the gem?
EXCERPT:
The curves were simply sensual, beautiful. Her hands caressed the hard body while they traveled over the smooth silken surface. Her heart fluttered, and tingles of excitement coursed through her veins.
Alaina had been to a number of these meet-ups and had always been disappointed. Sure, she saw some gorgeous specimens and she flirted a lot, but she knew what she was looking for and she wasn’t going to settle for anything less. But this time was different. She spied what she wanted almost immediately upon her arrival.
She knew the men watched her as she strode past them, past their Lamborghinis, their BMW’s, their Aston Martens, but they didn’t matter. She had found her jewel. Her ruby.
His deep voice flowed over her like a warm sensual bath. “It’s called Ruby Red Metallic. The sunlight does make her stand out, doesn’t it? You like Porsche?”
A faint breeze blew and picked up the scent of her soft floral perfume. She stepped a little closer to him, hoping he could smell the sexy fragrance and gave him her most alluring smile. “Like? No. I love them. They’re my passion.”
One of his brows arched up, and his eyes smoldered as they dipped to her cleavage for a moment before a smile slowly curved his lips and showed off his perfect teeth. “Really?” He held his hand out to her. “I’m Scott.”
She placed her hand in his warm powerful one and took her time to give him a once over. She noted the large hands went along with big feet and a huge bulge in his pants. This was going to prove more interesting then she first expected. “I’m Alaina.”
Scott bowed over her hand and pressed his lips to it. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Alaina.”
The small gentleman-like gesture warmed Alaina, and she almost felt giddy. What is happening to me?

by Jessie May 26th, 2011 at 6:08 amI think every woman should own both.
It should be a rite of passage!
Thanks Ladies for stopping by!
I have to agree…a sexy man with a nice car is a wonderful combination.
by Casey Sheridan May 26th, 2011 at 7:22 amI remember we had a conversation like this a few days ago. Only, it was why women were more like cars.
I did some thinking, and some searching, and came up with the following from a blog called The Daily Offensive (nice name, eh? LOL)
“You can look at it basically, like…they call come in different makes, models, colors, style, sizes, build, athleticism (which can easily be compared to miles per gallon wink, wink ), etc. Some prefer healthy fuel to keep them going, some aren’t picky. Most of them, drive better, depending on who’s doing the driving (or who’s along for the ride). Some like to show off, others prefer to be nonchalant. I would be willing to bet…more than one guy has sprung in to your mind just then, eh? If not, go eat some lunch, come back later. This might take some stretching of an awake imagination.”
So, if you compare this to why women are like cars. . . the reasons almost seem to be the same. Right?
Love your work Casey, and congratulations!!!
by John May 26th, 2011 at 7:25 amYes, I remember that conversation.
You had some interesting examples then as well.
The article you quoted is very true. And I can think of a couple men that fit in there.
Thanks John for stopping by and for all your support.

by Marika Weber May 26th, 2011 at 10:30 amI want this book. I will add you to my list of must have books. Your description of the gear shift pulled me right in and i thought you might be talking about a pleasure bot…we all want one of those!
A man is like a car because you need to find the right key to make him purr. You also have to know how to keep him moving in the right direction at the right speed.

I met my H years ago through my best
friend years ago. My H had a car that still holds great memories as I ended up paying a few speeding tickets along the way back then…*S*
It was a ’69 Dodge Charger. My H rebuilt the entire engine and tranny, It had a 440, and when H hit the gas the ride would be an adventure….LOL.
They don’t make cars like that anymore, and sad to say I made my H sell the baby cause I was afraid an accident would happen. But I loved that car!
I have a had a thing for Dodges every since….*S* I drove a candy apple red 1975 Dodge truck from 1980 till 2001. I cried when I had to leave her in the lower 48 when we moved to Alaska Yes, females can cry over a car or truck. We had a relationship. An understanding…*S*
Please enter me!
