My first historical novella (and first in the Merry Widows series), Lessons In Indiscretion is now available!

Widowed Lady Julia Renwick is still young enough to crave a man’s touch; but she’s too old to think that the Earl of Bedingfield could see her as anything more than a family friend. Garrett Walker is handsome, charming and only 26 years old—the perfect catch for any one of this year’s debutantes.

Garrett has no interest in the maidens vying for his attentions. He wants only Julia. With just two weeks left in the season, he makes a bold move by asking her to dance. When she counters with a shocking request of her own, Garrett eagerly agrees.

Soon, they are stealing away for passionate encounters at every society event they attend. Garrett introduces Julia to excitements she never knew existed, and her newfound confidence quickly attracts other eligible men. It’s not long before Garrett realizes he must find a way to keep the lady all to himself…

My sister is having unexpected heart surgery tomorrow morning. She is 37 and they thought she had pneumonia turned out to be a leaky heart valve. I am going to the dentist to have a fillinf redone that didn’t turn out right the first time. Other than that work all week.

i love sandlewood and lavender btw and enjoy hunting around etsy now and then. I have a friend who creates jewelry and sells it there and is quite successful.

Love your cover and the trailer. Very HOT!!!lol

This week I have my 10 year old nephew…which does make me cranky because he is always bugging me wanting to get on my computer. LOL. I do love historicals and will definately be getting this one. My favorite scent would be just about anything with lavender or any tropical smell.

Congrats on the new release Karen!

I’m kind of cranky today because I spent all night on the couch with a scared puppy. Thunderstorms terrify her. I’m currently organizing and purging my closets to prepare for a move at the end of the summer. I enjoy historical romance very much. I like to imagine what it would be like to live during other time periods.

I just surfed the Etsy site. I like the packaging for those bath & body products! I love that La Petite Morte is made with Honeysuckle. I love that scent!

this week i’m gardening when it isn’t raining, teaching class at work, and dropping as many words on my WIP as possible!

i love fruity smells.. flowery stuff just makes me sneeze!

This week I am preparing for a fundraising luncheon (my niece,sister and I are doing Run for the Cure Cancer walk in Oct) That is on Saturday which is also my birthday so after the luncheon I will be celebrating..YAY!!lol.

I am not cranky just a little tired.

What I am doing this week: Well lets see, I am taking care of my 86 year old Grandmother who isn’t doing too well, my mother and Aunt are visiting so my house is pretty busy. I am getting ready for a grand daughter who may be born anytime and gotta drive 8 hours when I get the call. So right now my hands are pretty full.
My favorite scent: I like natural scents like the butters because I have allergies that bother me with “flowery” scents. I love historicals, I have read alot of them lately, then I switch up. But the historicals are great comfort reads for me.

Am I cranky, sometime when I don’t get much sleep especially when I am up all hours of the night with my Grandma…So here is the “anything!” :)

Would love to win any contest this one or your kindle… going over there next. :) Oh by the way the “new bookcover” looks FABULUSIOUS! :)

I am sick today, so much so I havent even read :( I think it should be against the rules to be able to getsick in the summer :)

I absolutely adore Historical Romance. It transports me to another world and enlightens and enriches me while I’m being entertained.

My favorite smell is strawberry/vanilla.

I love historical romances – they are my favorite!

I live in Texas and it is hot, hot, hot and not the good kind of hot.

My daughter is moving to New York to live and go to school on the 23rd of this month. We have been spending the last two weeks getting her packed up to go. At least, she is moving with 3 good friends so she won’t be alone up there.

Your new book will be downloaded as soon as possible so that I have something good to read while I enjoy the a/c!

So far not cranky at least I don’t think I am you never know what your family thinks of you.

I’m just tired, I had a slightly long day and will be having a very busy week with my student (I’m a volunteer tutor.)

My favorite scent is either green apple or cucumber melon. On a side note I love historicals!

I love switching around my scents for summertime. My favorite is lemon, and I love the lemon body splash at Bath and Body Works, and the Country Lemonade candles at Yankee Candle.

Just started Indiscretion! So far I’m loving it.

Mood: a bit mixed–cranky with a bit of laziness tossed in for flavoring.

I’ve now marked Pixxie Pie & Posie as a favorite store. It all looks luscious. That “gunslinger” scent is intriguing.

How am I Feeling unsaticfied, my husband works 12hr nights and we have a 3yr old that has trouble sleeping. My only time away is in books and stories , Favorite Scent Amber, I love Historical anything I even reenact it.. Thank You for Yours the help on those long nights.:)
