RG the X-mas Elf: I find myself sniffling, ’bout ready to cry. I’m glad Ten is here but my time sure does fly. It seems like just yesterday it was Day One, we had only just started, all ready for fun.

~Favorite holiday movie: My favorite holiday movie is National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. We
watch it every time it’s on! Just the best entertainment and it’s got
everything in there to set the mood and have fun with the holiday
season.
~Favorite holiday tradition: Christmas is when we splash out on all the favorite drinks, the
sparklers, rum punch, and the warming liquors. My favorite invention
is something we call a Firecracker, Babycham with a shot of good
brandy in it. One of those warms you over mighty quick. :)

~Favorite holiday food: Coconut Cream pie. My own family tradition.
~Favorite Holiday Tradition: My husband and I have lived abroad a good chunk of our married life and we’ve always lived away from family. We developed a tradition early on of having a Christmas meal that involved all of OUR favourites rather that what you’re SUPPOSED to have. Chicken, not turkey, with Raymond’s home made cornbread dressing, coconut cream pie for me and chocolate cream for him, and whatever other goodies we feel inclined toward in addition. We always have our favourite things and we always cook them together. Much of our dating took place around meal prep in the kitchen, so being in the kitchen cooking together always feels a bit like a date, and it feels especially festive at Christmas.

~Gift on my holiday wish list: The usual things I have on my list are books and DVDs, but what I’d really, really like is the winning lottery ticket. I’d be heading Stateside in 2013 for sure if I had millions in the bank! And building a house with the most awesome library ever! :D
~Weirdest holiday memory ever: That would be last year. I went on holiday to Fuerteventura with my dad, and given we were fed up of the food in our all-inclusive hotel, we found a British bar that was doing traditional Christmas dinners. We booked our seats and then a couple of days later, sat in the beautiful sunshine, overlooking the beach and the sea, eating turkey, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, etc. It was pretty bizarre – but delicious!
As a postman by day, and one of Santa’s reindeer on a single very special night, Cassius Cupid eats, sleeps, and breathes deliveries. He doesn’t mind, but sometimes wishes that someone would send him something more exciting than bills and junk mail.

One of my favorite thing to do is put my Christmas trees up on turners that have my trees turning 360 degrees. I put them on remote controls so that when I sit in my lazy girl, with a push of a button I can enjoy both.

my all time fav christmas song is so old some of you may not remember it “WHITE CHRISTMAS” sung by Bing Crosby it was first sung in the movie with the same name , a MUST SEE for the christmas sprite
