In the End…It’s The Story
by R.G. Alexander on Dec 19th, 2012 leave a response

RG: No longer the X-mas Elf but I still had some rhyme left in me. Thinking about the coming date December 21st (you should check out International Heat’s blog contest on the subject) and I wanted to share my thoughts with you…also some books and a contest lol

If the world were to end

In fire or in flood

Via disappointing aliens

Who lust for our blood

Or maybe by a virus

Spread through a deadly bite

Though I’d have a few regrets I know

I’m glad I got to write

I’m far too slow to make a go

of running from my doom

I’d never be picked for an “ark”

Just can’t afford a room

But if I must imagine it

the possibility

I would miss all of the lives I’ve lived

And all those yet to be

In reality, I’m just a girl

who sits in sweats and tees

Spinning dreams of love and magic

Of what if and what might be

Here within my mind

I’ve been a queen

a warrior and a rake

I have saved the world and risked my life

all for my true love’s sake

In the real world I

would have loose ends

like everyone, I guess

Friends I have lost

and treasures tossed

All the times I failed my tests

But then I have been a priestess

and traveled between worlds

Even been a superhero

just waiting for his girl

I have been an Unborn Reader

spoken of in prophecy

So if it’s the end

then in the end

I love what I got to be

It’s true we need to tell our tales

even in our day to day

What would we be without them?

Maybe we would fade away

So as long as there is someone

Weaving yarns of greater glory

Humanity will yet survive

What will save us is the story

RG: and now the books and a contest! Did I mention priestess and aliens and the end of the world? :)

Does anyone remember the Wasteland series with Samhain? We did that with fellow authors Crystal Jordan (who wrote The Wanderer) and Lilli Feisty (who wrote The Whore). Here’s the video-I love the music!

Eden Bradley and my offerings were The Breeder and The Priestess

Destined to serve the desires of an entire city, all she wants is one man. Or maybe two…

Wasteland, Book 2

Born to the Temple, Nitara knows the Great Goddess’s plan for her: to bring life into what is left of an arid and wasted Earth. Since puberty she has been trained to arouse and titillate, to ensure the continuation of the human race.

As is the custom, the man captured for her is strong of blood, though considered little more than a wild animal. Yet when she looks into his eyes, she sees no primitive creature, but the man whose face and hands haunt her sensual dreams.

For Akaash, a hunter and warrior, it’s his shame that he will be sacrificed to a goddess he doesn’t believe in, for a people who are not his own, leaving behind his Wanderer clan—and his bonded lover, Dhatri. Locked in the bowels of the Temple, he has a month to ponder his fate, all while falling helplessly under the spell of the virgin temptress who will soon take his life.

With each tortuously erotic encounter, however, Akaash realizes that Nitara is as much a prisoner as he. If he can just get a message out to Dhatri, there may be a slim chance both of them can escape…

Warning: Sexual acts in a prison cell, by the sea, in the desert, on an altar, with every possible combination of dirty deeds between two men and one very lucky woman, and all of it hot enough to melt sand! And her panties. If she were wearing any.

Damn the rules, damn the gods…even if he has to share her, she belongs to him.

Wasteland, Book 4

High Priestess Xian has followed the Path of the Peaceful Sun since she was chosen at birth. Yet the joy she receives from helping others is overshadowed by her growing belief that the world they live in is…wrong.

At a crossroads, unsure of her ability to do her job—unsure of anything—she journeys to the ruins of the old city, hoping to uncover secrets that will give her clarity. Instead she finds the path to her goal clouded by an unexpected desire for her handsome guard, Hel, and for the battered stranger they find along the way.

Hel can’t prevent Xian from reaching out to the mysterious Siraj, but there is danger in allowing him to stay. Siraj belongs to no caste, follows no rules but his own. And Xian’s fascination with him makes Hel’s blood boil. No one can know that Hel has always loved her, or the secret he’s kept hidden for years. But Siraj’s advances and Xian’s curiosity force Hel to cross lines he never before dared…

Warning: The word of the day is Voyeurism. Oh, and explicit sex with two men and one previously repressed High Priestess. Bi ménage, anal sex, oral sex, kissing, licking, rimming, author blushing …so you know it must be good.

Robin L Rotham has us covered in the alien department. Only they aren’t disappointing AT ALL. They are incredibly sexy. If you haven’t, you should read her Alien series, starting with Alien Overnight!

Commander Kellen is on Earth recruiting women for his planet’s sex-starved males. Not particularly excited by human anatomy, he seeks nothing more for himself than the occasional slaking of his needs with some anonymous female — which shouldn’t be a problem, since she’ll have to face the other way to accommodate his special anatomical needs.

Dr. Monica Teague is thrilled with her ten-year assignment caring for Garathan’s sexual recruits. Her quirky looks and childish excuse for a body guarantee she’ll never be expected to put out — which is kind of a bummer, now that she’s up to her armpits in horny alien beefcake. But, when an overdose of alien pheromones makes Monica drunk off her ass, Kellen quickly claims the odd little doctor before another Garathani realizes what she is.

The overdose sparks a violent chain reaction in her, and when Monica finally wakes, she’s got the body of a porn star — and two sexy alien mates who are determined to tame her.If only she were as determined not to let them…Reader Advisory: Contains menage a trois sexual scenes.

My favorite Alien invasion is still Independence day. Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland compete for the zombie movie…and I really love all the end of the world movies. Though there was a SyFy one about Stonehenge ending the world that was pretty good for a TV movie. :)

My favorite is Zombieland because I’m a sucker for comedies and nothing is funnier than this movie lol The movie “2012″ scares me to death! If the world really does end, I really really hope that it doesn’t happen like that. My cousin’s birthday is the 21st and he isn’t very fond of it lol Thanks for the giveaway!
