So…I know we’ve been absent but a LOT has been happening with the Smutketeers! Last week RG moved across the state and I moved across the country and we are now living together! Our new house is big enough to house office space for both of us, plus The Cookie, with plenty of room left over for their dog Roux (my doggie niece) and all of our books-very exciting! It’s been a lot of work getting the house in order and we’re not done yet, but I thought I’d check in to give a li’l update.
Lots of exciting news for my books!THE DARK GARDEN has been selling like mad here in the US and even more madly in the UK. I just got my shipment of the UK version of the book today from my UK publisher, Black Lace Books, and it’s gorgeous! The cover feels like a combination of silk and suede-I’m in love! And inside are two review quotes-one from the fabulous Larissa Ione, and the other from our own Smutkedette Taryn at My Secret Romance-yay, Taryn!
In other news, my ‘Edge’ books-PLEASURE’S EDGE, DESIRE’S EDGE and TEMPTATION’S EDGE(which has been getting awesome reviews!)- have all been repackaged in the wake of THE DARK GARDEN‘s success with slick new covers and they now say ‘Eden Bradley writing as Eve Berlin’. They’ll be available on October 24th, but you can pre-order now online. Take a look here:

What else? Hmm…well, living with RG has led me to discover that she owns as much lip gloss as I do, which is saying something! We’re also having a great time putting the house together-we had a nearly orgasmic trip to World Market, where we oohed and ahhed over all the gorgeous imported stuff, which we both love. Today I think we’re both due for a pedicure (read I’m dragging her to get her toes done, too!). In the midst of this move RG put out another Wicked book, WICKED RELEASE (ohh-la-la!!!)and Crystal’sUNLEASHED is out now, too! Take a look at this post for more info!

What’s everyone up to this weekend? I’m at home, proofing the galleys for my first Eve Berlin book, PLEASURE’S EDGE, out in October from Berkley Heat! This is the last step in the editing process before the book goes to print, so it’s very exciting! This one is a contemporary BDSM-lots of sex and lots of romance, a more purely alpha hero than I usually write. I forgot how in love with Alec I was while writing this one…*sigh*
Am about to start the next book, DESIRE’S EDGE, about Alec’s hot lawyer friend, Dante. I can’t wait! But…the next in my Midnight Playground vampire series, THE TURNING KISS, is nagging at me. I wrote a few pages the other day and can’t stop thinking about it. One woman and three men-well, one man and two male vampires. Things are gonna get dirty! But I like it like that…*G*
All is quiet otherwise-just me and my computer. My b/f is out getting some new tattoo work today, so I’ve been home with the cats and my edits. But he’s taking me shopping tomorrow-one of my favorite past times and I still can’t believe I found a man who likes to shop-yay! That’s my big excitement this weekend. I’ll be traveling the next two, though-next weekend going to Palm Springs with the fabulous K.B.
