For those of you who enjoy the Smutketeers costumed photo shoots, or the ones we wear to the parties at the yearly RT Convention, we have a very special treat for you! Sara Faire made the sleeves R.G. and I used on our Faery Ball costumes this year, and Karen also wore them at our annual photo shoot. Sara’s work is absolutely amazing! The sleeves were, I’m sure, a very simple task for her, but they were exactly what we needed.

We wanted to share Sara’s amazing talents with you-and a little about Sara. She says:

“I’m a 30 year old single mom in Texas, I LOVE Halloween and anime, and I work on my pieces out of my home. I have tentative plans to start an annual masquerade in my town within the next 3 years, and my favorite things to make are of that nature.”

We’re very excited about the idea of a masquerade ball, and she promises to keep me informed! I’m such a costume geek, and I’m turning the other Smutketeers into costume geeks, too-All For Smut and…All For Costumes, too!

Sara has a small store on Etsy, where we often find costume pieces, as well as some of the gorgeous jewelry and other gifties we give away as blog prizes. You must check out her store!

Meanwhile, here’s a peek at her latest project to tempt your costumy taste buds:

Isn’t her work gorgeous? She custom-made the sleeves for us (the original piece was a long sleeved chemise), and I believe she can make almost anything-her craftsmanship is superb! We just wanted to show our appreciation and admiration by showcasing her beautiful costume artistry here today. Hope you all enjoy it!
